NETHERLANDS – Bagging automation solutions provider Votech has opened its newly expanded facility in Netherlands, boosting its manufacturing capacity.
The move comes after the acquisition of Votech by global automation equipment company Duravant in 2021, which decided to integrate Votech with Fischbein International, bringing together more than 100 years of packaging expertise.
The company says collaboration has created a portfolio of technologies enabling the company to serve a wide range of markets including agriculture, animal nutrition and milk powders, among others.
Alongside this announcement, the company unveiled their new company logo and brand campaign that reflects the organization’s transformation into a full-line packaging equipment provider.
Erik Blom, Votech managing director said: “The names Fischbein, Saxon and Votech, all trusted brands known for quality, durability and dependability, will continue to reside in the market as Votech’s family of product brands.”
The new facility, which covers 5,200m2, was built on the existing site occupied by Votech, with the new building being built next to its current facility.
In May 2022, Votech said the expansion will allow the company to pursue intensive collaboration with its sister company Fischbein International to produce packaging projects for its customers across Europe.
The new headquarters for Votech will be home to its engineering and manufacturing operations.
Head of project sales at Votech Rolf Michiels said the company was excited to welcome customers and partners to its new state-of-the-art facility in order to experience its technologies and customer-centric approach to innovation and integrated solutions.
